Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at Artagnan in Maastricht, I was thrilled to discover a gem that effortlessly combines charm and functionality. Nestled in a quiet street just an 8-minute walk from the lively central square, this lovely old house boasts a spacious suite complete with a cozy seating area and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable escape. The romantic and atmospheric decoration truly enhances the stay, and as we traveled with my mom and our dog, the pet-friendly policy was a fantastic bonus. Our host, warm and inviting, made our arrival special with complimentary tea and coffee, setting a relaxing tone for our mini-adventure. To its proximity to popular attractions like the Basilica of Our Lady, Artagnan offers serene evenings with its lovely terrace and garden - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. I highly recommend this delightful spot for anyone looking to create memorable experiences while immersing in the city's rich culture and history.
